One of the youth in our parish, Peter Munns, has been working as a Net Youth Minister in Bundaberg QLD. He has shared with us some of his experience up till now below:

I would like to start by again thanking the Parish of St Charles Borromeo and Our Lady Queen of Peace for the spiritual and financial support that has enabled me to be a NET youth minister in Bundaberg. My journey started in January with a month of faith formation and practical training. During this time, I was assigned to be a member of the Bundaberg NET for 2018 and given the amazing responsibility of be a team leader. The team is amazing. As well as me there is a New Zealander, American, Canadian and Brisbanite. We have felt so welcomed by the Bundaberg Parish and wider community. We are responsible for running four youth groups and ministering to classes in three catholic primary schools and Shalom Catholic High School. I love my ministry and feel such a
strong presence of God in the community. My faith has grown through those around me and the
beauty of seeing children laugh and smile when we are teaching them about Jesus and His love. I find the most joy in my role when I see the youth of the area growing in their own faith and I see them laughing and smiling. It is a beautiful experience and I am honoured to be able to dedicate a year of my life to doing this. Thank you again for your ongoing thoughts and prayers.
