Vinnies Bushfires Appeal

Since the bushfires began, hundreds of homes have been lost, livelihoods destroyed, and tragically, some people have lost their loved ones. The St Vincent de Paul Society is on the ground helping victims as they deal with the immediate aftermath of the fires, and will continue to be there as they rebuild their lives in the long term.
Here's how you can help.

How can I help?
During all masses over the Australia Day weekend (Jan 25 & 26), Vinnies will be conducting a Bushfire Appeal for all those affected by the current bushfire crisis.

We ask our parish community at Ryde Gladesville to contribute to the Vinnies Appeal in any way possible, in order to assist the people affected by the fires. Any donation, big or small, will go a long way in supporting those who most need our help.

Can I donate online?
Donations can also be made online at anytime at https://donate.vinnies.org.au/appeals-nsw/vinnies-nsw-bushfire-appeal-nsw.

At this time, financial donations are more useful than physical goods in assisting the victims to rebuild their lives and make ends meet. Even just $50 can provide food for a family who have been evacuated from their home.

Where will my donations be going?

Thank you for your generosity and compassion in this time of need.

Let us all continue to pray for the victims of the devastating bush fires, and the courageous firefighters and volunteers who continue to risk their lives to keep families, animals and properties safe. May our Parish community band together to support them in any way that we can.
