Additional SALT Training Session

Following the success of our first SALT Training Night last Wednesday evening, we will be hosting another SALT Training Session to help volunteers and ministers who may not have computer access or require assistance to complete their Safeguarding and Child Protection documentation.

The next assisted SALT Training Session will be held on Wednesday 12th February at 10am in the St Charles Borromeo Parish Hall.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided for all attendees.

What's involved?
The session will involve a workshop presented by our resident Parish Safeguarding Support Officer (PSSO), an opportunity for group discussion and questions at the end, as well as a help desk where staff can assist with any documentation queries.

Please bring your Working with Children Check (WWCC) with you if you have one, as well as any questions you may have about any part of the Safeguarding and Child Protection documentation process.

At the last session, we had over 30 attendees from St Charles and Our Lady Queen of Peace, as well as from St Michael's at Meadowbank.

If you or anyone you know requires assistance with their SALT Training or Safeguarding documentation, or intends to volunteer with the parish in the future, this is an excellent opportunity to complete the training in one go!

To register your attendance, please call or email the Parish Office with your name and phone number on 9807 2966 or office@rgcp.org.au.

We look forward to seeing you there.
