Catholic Weekly excerpt: Sadness and hope as churches close

Last week, Ryde Gladesville was featured in article in the Catholic Weekly newspaper. With places of worship now restricting from opening to the public to slow the spread of COVID-19 from midday on Monday 23rd March, Ryde Gladesville parish hosted one last outdoor Mass at 11am.


While we may be forced to close our doors for a little while to keep our community safe, all hope is not lost.  An interview with our Parish Priest, Fr Greg Morgan, summed it all up perfectly. "... I think one of the greatest things we can do is bolster people’s faith, by showing them that in the midst of all this that God is there,” he said.
