A very special Mother's Day

This year's Mother's Day was a little bit different, with people separated from their families and their churches and unable to honour the love and devotion of the mothers and motherly figures in their lives as they normally would. Last week we invited our parish community to send in photos of the special women in their lives, so we could celebrate them in a special way during our Mother's Day Mass on Sunday 10th May.

Our Youth Coordinator, Jemille West, compiled all the photos, and turned them into a collage of Mother Mary, which was front and centre during our Mass. All the intentions sent in were also remembered, as we celebrated the women in our lives, and Mary, whose steadfast love for their children cannot be praised enough.

Thank you to all our parishioners who sent in photos and messages, and we hope all our Parish community had a wonderful Mother's Day.
