'Every person counts': SMH Interview with Fr Greg

Our Parish Priest, Fr Greg Morgan, was recently featured in a Sydney Morning Herald article about the re-opening of churches in NSW under new, eased restrictions on places of worship.

On Friday 15th May, 10 parishioners attended Mass in person at St Charles Church for the first time in nearly 2 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

'While most other denominations decided it was too early, and too labour intensive to open for 10 people, Father Morgan from the Ryde Gladesville Catholic Parish said he would have opened for fewer people.

"I'd do it for five. I think every person counts."'

It was wonderful to have parishioners join us for Masses over the weekend. If you'd like to book a place at any of our weekday or weekend Masses, please read the latest COVID-19 update here on our blog. Rules for visiting the churches and social distancing and hygiene measures still apply.

Masses are still live streamed on our YouTube channel.
