Last week we had a Why Marriage Matters session with our Set Alight group.
It was fantastic having Moreen, her husband Arthur, Tania and her husband Tony last Sunday for our young adults group and hearing their stories about how they met and the challenges they have faced in their marriages and how they have overcome them! Such a great witness of love for everyone there! We thank them so much for their time and wisdom!
This week during our Thursday Night Live event, we were blessed with Archbishop Julian Porteous of Tasmania as he shared on the topic of Modern-day Vulnerability: A look at the sacred heart of Jesus. Drawing from this feast day which we celebrated this week, we discovered a true and open heart of the Lord that we can trust and are called to respond to today!

UPCOMING EVENTS
Sparc (all high school students)
Sparc will return Friday, July 3rd 6:30 pm at St Charles Borromeo School Hall, with the theme to be confirmed. All high school students are welcome, bring $5 for dinner.
Calling all parents!
We are continuing to build community and now it is here just for you every month! We have a very special night planned for all parents on Friday July 3rd 6:30pm-9:00pm! For just $10, hear from Parenting consultant Saskia West on the topic of: Love & Discipline through the lens of Faith. The night will include a free meal, drinks & more! Your teenagers will also have the joy of being looked after in our Sparc youth group!
Set Alight (ages 18-40)
Our next Set Alight session will be our connecTed sessions on Sunday, June 28th at 7pm in the St Charles Borromeo Parish Hall, where we will have small groups for men & women! Come along for a $5 meal + a great time of fellowship & community!
Thursday Night Live (all those interested)
Next Thursday Night 7 pm live on our youth YouTube channel we will be exploring the topic of ‘Modern day: Marriage’ with Fire up ministries Simon & Madeleine Carrington. We are very excited to be welcoming them! Stay tuned for more updates!
