Home Prayer Spaces

Last week in his ‘Desk’ column, Fr Greg asked parishioners and wider members of our Parish community to share images of their ‘prayer corners’, ‘home altars’ or ‘garden grottos’ at home as we go through this lockdown together.

Setting up a little space reserved for saying a prayer or two or watching our livestreamed Mass in your home is a great way to nourish your faith and express your creativity during this time, and Fr Greg encourages all of us to take part!

You can set up candles, an open Bible, photos and statues, a crucifix, rosary beads, prayer cards, flowers, a nice tablecloth, anything you like! There is no limit to your creativity and inventiveness, and we look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thank you to all those who have sent in photos so far! We will share collections of photos on our blog and Facebook page.

You can send photos of your prayer space to office@rgcp.org.au.
