RGCP Advent Retreat - Mother Mary's Magnificat

During the Ryde Gladesville Parish Advent Retreat held at the end of November, participants took part in activity in which they had the opportunity to write their own Magnificat, like Mother Mary did.

Here is a Magnificat written by Grace, one of this year's participants:

My soul rejoices in the Lord’s words,

His promises give me strength to stand firm.

I give gratitude for what we have built together. His Love and Mercy continues to drive me on the road to Righteousness.

God’s truth illuminates my life,

His presence lives in my house.

God showers me with His mercy and love, filling my mind with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Sing Alleluia, for God’s work is everlasting.
