What to Expect: The Relics of St Thérèse of Lisieux visit Ryde Gladesville
The National Pilgrimage of the Relics of St Thérèse of Lisieux, and her parents, Saints Zélie and Louis Martin, will visit St Charles Borromeo Church on Tuesday 17th March.

11:30 am Quiet Time, Veneration of the Relics & Self-guided prayer

12:10 pm Continuation of Quiet Time
01:00 pm Presentation by Fr Daniele

02:00 pm Mass Celebrated by Fr Daniele
02:45 pm Leaving Ceremony
03:00 pm Departure of the Relics

The schedule for the day can be found below. We also anticipate many visitors to our Parish on the day, as people come from our local community and beyond to see the Relics. We thus require many volunteers to assist with various roles on the day.

We need your help!
With so many people expected to visit our church, and many more following the relics along their Pilgrimage across Sydney, we require volunteers from our Parish community to help the day run as smoothly as possible.
With so many people expected to visit our church, and many more following the relics along their Pilgrimage across Sydney, we require volunteers from our Parish community to help the day run as smoothly as possible.
If you would like to volunteer to help, we require assistance in the following roles:
- Parking Ministers
- Ushers & Welcomers
- Flower Stall (Operator & Flower Donations)
- Hospitality (Serving Tea & Coffee, assisting with set up and pack up etc)
- General Assistance (Removing used candles, handing out prayer cards etc)
- Morning Tea Donations (Slices, Biscuits, Cakes)
- Lunch Donations (Sandwiches, Rolls)
No experience is necessary, as training and further instruction will be provided closer to the day for all roles as we put together volunteering teams.
