Youth Update: What have we been up to?

The Youth at Ryde Gladesville have been busy! Here's what they've been up to lately.

Set Alight (young adults)

We have had a great start to the year with our first Neighbourhood Theology, featuring Fr Daniele as our guest speaker on the topic "Can psychology and religion help me to heal today?”. Last week we also finished our January theme of “Out with old and in with the new” with a night of adoration together! Now, we will enter into Lent with March focusing on the life and theology of St Therese of Lisieux.

Sparc (all high school)

We have opened our very first Study Centre for Year 11’s and 12’s every Friday from 3pm-7:30pm in the Gell Room of the Parish Centre! This centre includes afternoon tea and dinners cooked via a roster of parents. So far it's been a great success, and the students have also become leaders for their high school youth group! If your child is interested, they are most welcome every Friday!

Stations of the Cross


Stations​ of the Cross are underway with our high school youth in Years 9-12! Please keep them in your prayers this year as they prepare the presentation for Good Friday morning. If your child would like to join, we still have spaces!
