Youth Update: What have we been up to?

Last week, our Youth programs transitioned to online using tools such as Zoom and YouTube, to continue to support the youth in our Parish during the pandemic.
Check out our makeshift studio! A special thank you to Patrick, who's been helping us with the live streaming lately!

Sparc (all high school)

Our youth group is viral! And we are going live every Friday! Our last session was great and staying connected is the key! Our next Sparc session will be Friday April 17th! Stay tuned for more….

Introducing: Sparc weekly challenges!

Want a challenge for your #quarantine time? Next week is Holy Week, so we are putting out a call to all those creative heads out there! Create your own comic strip either on paper or digitally, send it in by the end of next week on Good Friday and wait to hear if you're the winner! Winners will receive an awesome prize, plus be featured on our website, bulletin and social media platforms!

Set Alight (ages 18-40)

Last week we went online! We had a great first session on YouTube with our catechesis on suffering with Brother Steve! We loved the responses! Keep them coming!

So What’s next, you might ask?

Every Sunday we will be offering formation via Zoom starting this Palm Sunday with a film called: Mary of Nazareth; a different perspective to Holy week through the eyes of Jesus mother! To tune in at 6:00pm, please email us: youth@rgcp.org.au and we will send you a link!

Stay tuned for more young adult formation…

An Easter Encounter
All our Youth are also welcome to attend our Ryde-Gladesville digital Easter retreat, which will be streamed live on the parish YouTube channel from April 9-April 12.

Stay tuned for further updates!
