From Fr Greg's Seat: The Garden Update
Greetings everyone! Cold winds are a blowing, but we are still pumping out energy and vitality!
The really Good News this week, is that you can celebrate the light easing of COVID – 19 restrictions with me next Saturday morning 9th May by exercising some ‘finger power’ in our St. Charles lawns and gardens.
Yes, it is on again.. the ‘RGCP Green Finger Club' will once again be meeting at a Church near you, Better than a subscription to Fitness First, we'll be there doing our regular workout mowing lawns, trimming trees and weeding!
You might even catch a glimpse of Mad Mowing Morgan (aka Fr. Greg) tearing around on his ride-on mower (no name given to her as yet, but open to suggestions...). Membership is now open for a few extra 'Green Fingers' to join current members Carol, Colin and Yours Truly.
If you can help us out, be there at 8 am next Saturday morning the 9th May, bring along your gloves and your favourite ‘weapons of grass destruction’ and enjoy dispatching lots of ‘uninvited weeds’ on paths, and around the Church at SCB, to their Maker!
Light refreshments served at 10 AM. Should be finished by 11 am or thereabouts, depending on how many people come along.
