Pentecost Digital Retreat

Jesus tells us in John 16:33 to “take courage; I have conquered the world.” Like the disciples at Pentecost in the upper room, we too have been isolated and stuck in our own upper rooms with an uncertain world outside. 

With this in mind, we would like to offer you an online retreat about the Holy Spirit’s gift of courage. You can participate in this retreat anytime from Saturday 30th May, from the comfort of your lounge rooms via our Parish YouTube Channel!

It consists of a series of three short talks, which you can watch and reflect upon during the upcoming days. These reflections given by our very own parishioners and Verbum Dei Missionaries invite you to listen to what the Spirit has to say. 

You can participate in them at your own convenience! We pray that the Holy Spirit may enlighten your minds and hearts and invoke newfound courage in these confusing and uncertain times! 

If you missed out on a spot for our All Night Pentecost Vigil (there are still spots from 12am onwards!), this is a great opportunity to hear from several of the speakers who will be giving the talks on the night, all from the comfort of your own home!
