Youth Update

What have we been up to? Well, we are back in business!

Our Highschool and Young adult groups gathered for the first time last week since the beginning of lockdown. It was a terrific reunion, plus a joy to delve into more topics on faith! We discovered that it was the community we missed the most!

This week during our Thursday Night Live session, we also had the joy of hearing from our very own Verbum Dei Priests, Brother and a married couple on the topic of Modern-Day Mission and what that truly looks like, learning that it’s simply in doing God’s Will every day that our mission really begins

And we've got plenty more great events coming up, for all our parish!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Sparc (all high school)

Sparc will return next Friday with the theme ‘​What’s so cool about Marriage today?’ June 19th at 6:30 pm at the St Charles Borromeo School Hall. All high school students are welcome, bring $5 for dinner.



Set Alight (ages 18-40)

Our next Set Alight session will be on the theme:​ “Real talk: An evening on Natural Family Planning” with our very own married couple Sneha & Mario ​for​ Sunday June 21st at 7:00pm at St Charles Borromeo Parish Hall!



Thursday Night Live (all welcome)

Next Thursday 18th June at 7 pm live on our youth YouTube channel ​we will be exploring the topic of ​‘Modern day: Persecution’ with Archbishop Julian Porteous of Tasmania​. We are very excited to be welcoming His Grace! Stay tuned for more updates!
