Alpha begins!

Last Thursday evening, 23 July, Alpha began again in the parish. This is our 3rd series, though this one was a little different, and included hand sanitiser and physical distancing!

The usual elements of a meal, video and group discussion still meant that new friendships could begin to develop and that guests could engage in interesting and meaningful conversations about life and faith.

Let us continue to pray for the Alpha participants this year on their journey to grow in faith and friendship.

Please pray for the Alpha guests over coming weeks. This prayer is offered:

PRAYER FOR THE ALPHA SERIES

Loving God,

You call us to share our faith and invite others into friendship with you.

We pray for every guest who takes part in Alpha,

that they will come to know Jesus, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

We pray for the Alpha team,

that they joyfully share the Good News.

Let the Alpha series bring us closer together in our parish family,

and renew our relationships with you and with each other in our journey of life and faith.

Send your Holy Spirit on our Parish

so that we can better witness the love of God to all in our community.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
