The Alpha Journey Underway

Nights in August are very cold, but entering a nice warm parish hall, to be greeted by warm friendly smiles and a warm ready-to-eat meal make the outing very worthwhile indeed! Whether coming from home, or hopping off the bus from work in the city, the 7pm start with dinner allows everyone to unwind, reconnect with friends, and share what the week was like.

Masks, hand sanitiser and physical distancing are now in place, but the warmth of our Alpha gathering can't be sanitised or masked! Indeed, as we grow closer in our small groups, we continue to explore the meaning of faith in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Will You Please Pray for Alpha?

Prayer underpins all our Alpha efforts in the parish. Please join us in praying for our Alpha guests who are on an amazing journey of discovering faith and the next step that God is calling them to.

Please pray for a period of time, as long as you wish, between 7pm and 9.15pm every Thursday evening.

Set a reminder or an alarm, or put this prayer on your fridge! Through prayer, God's grace and blessing will flow through the Alpha series and into all our guests and out into our parish. Thank you!
