Alpha Underway at Ryde-Gladesville
Whether face-to-face or online, groups are meeting on Monday nights to grapple with the big questions of life and faith at Alpha. Is there more to life that this? Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die?
These topic spark great conversation, as people ask questions that sometimes have been sitting unanswered for a lifetime.
Our Week 2 theme of 'Bring your favourite beverage' was a hit, as we shared a cuppa, a glass of wine or a cocktail through our computer screens. But either way, Alpha is always inspiring as stories and honest discussion are shared in a safe and friendly space.
Please pray for all involved in Alpha. In particular, we pray that the Holy Spirit will flow abundantly through this Alpha series, and inspire all the guests with new understandings and new friendships.
Is Jesus who he said he was? How can we know? Has science answered all of life's questions? And what does it mean to say that 'Jesus died for my sins?' These and more have given us plenty to think about!
