Safeguarding Audit

 

The Archdiocese is conducting a mandatory Safeguarding Audit in early July.

If you are a volunteer in our Parish it is mandatory fo you to complete your

Parish Compliance


These requirements are consistent across all Parishes following the Royal Commission into Child Abuse in the Catholic Church, and are mandated by the Archdiocese of Sydney.

To ensure all our volunteers have completed Parish Compliance we will be holding two Parish Compliance Sessions on

Thursday 1st July
at 10:15 am and at 7pm

Please bring your WWC number with you to the Session.
Your WWC can be obtained from any Service NSW centre.

You can also complete your Parish Compliance online in just 5 steps!

Just go to the Parish Website: www.rgcp.org.au/volunteer

To complete Parish Compliance you are required to complete:-

1. Volunteer Registration Form
2. Sign the Code of Conduct
3. Provide a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
4. SALT training.
5. Provide this documentation to the Parish Office. Once we have copies of all 4 documents, your Safeguarding and Child Protection is completed.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE AUDIT MAY RESULT IN YOUR ROLE AS A VOLUNTEER BEING PUT ON HOLD UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE 5 REQUIRED STEPS.
