RGCP Buddy System

We are looking for volunteers to join our Buddy System, and help drop off bulletins to parishioners in our local area who are isolated during this lockdown and unable to connect with us online.

The role involves collecting bulletins from outside the Parish Office on a Friday afternoon and dropping them off to a few parishioners who live near you over the weekend. We are also hoping to provide friendly phone calls to parishioners in need based on volunteer interest.

It is a great way to help the elderly and isolated members of our Parish stay connected, and many of our Buddies often walk along their delivery routes, so it’s a great way to get out of the house and exercise too!

Do you know someone who could benefit from the Buddy System?

If you know someone who is elderly, lives alone and/or does not have access to the internet, and could benefit from having bulletins delivered or weekly phone calls, please contact the Parish Office.
