You are invited to join School of the Word

SCHOOL OF THE WORD

School of the Word has a very basic structure. One of our Verbum Dei priests (usually Frs Steve, Dan or Daniele) takes us through a mediation or “guidelines” that introduces everyone into a specific passage from scripture and opens up questions to lead us into prayer. Afterwards, everyone enjoys a time of prayer and reflection in which the aim is to listen to God speaking through His Word, and then applying it to our own lives and all that we are living. Afterwards, we all go into small groups via break out rooms where everyone has a time to share the fruits of their prayer and to be inspired by what others have been receiving from God during the reflection time.

DAILY REFLECTIONS

We also send out daily reflections on the mass readings of the day via our WhatsApp group. These come in the form of podcasts that are approximately 10 minutes long.
