Catechist Sunday & Morning Tea

This Sunday 6th February, we celebrate Catechist Sunday 2022, and the work that our wonderful Catechists and Catechist Helpers do in bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to Catholic church in public schools.

This weekend, several of our dedicated Catechist members will be receiving a number of awards for their service to the vocation.

Congratulations to the following Catechists who receive Certificates of Appreciation, including Edna Palomo, Mary Panetta and Marisa Natoli for 5 years of Service, and Merryl Foster, for an incredible 55 years of Service.

We congratulate also Christine Oliveri, who this weekend receives an Outstanding Service Award for her Catechesis work.

This weekend, we also celebrate Sanam Dharamdasani, Anna Grasso and Edna Aldana who have completed their Catechist Training, and are preparing to enter into the Vocation.

A celebratory Morning Tea will be served after the 10am Mass this Sunday, and all are invited to come along and congratulate our wonderful Catechists, and learn more about the vocation if you’re interested!
