Youth Update

What an incredible few weeks it's been for our Youth at Ryde-Gladesville! Just 3 weeks in, and we've had so many of our kids and young people join us for our sessions, from Ignite and Sparc to Set Alight and our new Yound Adults Alpha Series.

There's heaps happening around our Parish, and something for everyone, no matter your age! Keep reading to find out what's on this week. 

UPCOMING EVENTS

IGNITE (Primary Years 3-5)

This Saturday our Ignite group met up for a wonderful sessions about #MyFaithIs… The Best Sport! Our next session is on the 5th of March at OLQP from 3:pm - 4:30pm. Anyone in year 3 - year 5 is welcome to join us!

SPARC (all high school)

Sparc is undergoing a small change to structure! Due to the amazing number of attendees we were getting last year we have made the decision to split the group. This will allow for a more personal connection between all the leaders and kids, and also allows us to make sure the information everyone receives matches their level of understanding and maturity.

Our next session will be on Friday 25th February! Our youth will learn all about Hope!

JUNIOR SPARC (Years 6-8)

On Friday our Junior Sparc had the help of Moana to help them learn about going against the tide!

Next week we are going to look at some pretty hopeful moments from one of the greatest trilogies of all time. Can you guess what it is?

SENIOR SPARC (yr 9 - yr 12)

Our Senior Sparc learned a lot about going against the tide with a wonderful talk which included a little Bondi Rescue analogy! And of course next week they will be able to get pretty hopeful as they learn all about… Hope!

SET ALIGHT PRESENTS ALPHA

CAMP

Our Camp is happening! Our new dates are July 12-14! Anyone who is in years 6 - 12 this year at Benedict XVI Retreat Center 347 Grose Wold Rd, Grose Vale. 

We have plenty of room so bring yourself and all your friends along! The cost is $220 per person with family discounts offered for families with more than one child attending.
