Be Connected' Workshops for the Over 50's
We had a nice turn out last Wednesday for our first of three 'Be Connected' Digital Workshops for Seniors, and the comments afterwards were overwhelmingly positive. We have a further two more over the next two Wednesdays (15th and 22nd March) so if you would like to still join in, let us know in time so that they can bring enough laptops to cover all those who wish to come. If you wish, you can also bring your own device (laptop computer, tablet or smart phone) and that way you can gain in familiarity with its use, and get the most out of it.
Young At Heart Hawkesbury River Cruise for the over 60's Next Wednesday 15th March
Our Parish Seniors also 'connected' in non-digital ways!! One great way is to go on an outing with the Young At Heart (Yah) seniors group. They are off on a 3-hour River Cruise next Wednesday, should be a lot of fun! For more info see info box on page 5.

Help Needed with Children's Liturgy at SCB Ryde 10 am Masses
Our 10 am SCB Kid's Liturgy is a wonderful opportunity for our kids to explore their faith at their level, and also for their parents to have some quiet time and listen to God's word and the homily without a thousand distractions. However, we are now 'victims of our own success', as the numbers of participants has grown substantially, and we need a few more helpers each week to assist the Team leaders and supervise the kids in smaller groups. Maybe you could consider doing this once a month or bimonthly?

Altar Serving Training on Again this Wednesday 15 March 3.30 - 4.45 pm at SCB Church, Ryde
By popular request, another Altar Serving Training session has been planned for this next Wed afternoon, from 3.30 - 4.45 pm. It is great to see so many of our young friends helping out with this important service.

We have another Altar Servers Fun Day organised for next school holidays, to which all our new and veteran servers are invited. More about that in future bulletins.

Information Night - 'Consecration to Jesus through Mary' - This Wed 15 Mar 7.30 pm at OLQP Church Gladesville
Next Wednesday night, our 'Bonds of Marian Love" group will be hosting an Information Night for their upcoming new series of preparations for "Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary".

It will be held at OLQP Church Gladesville, beginning at 7.30 pm. This is a very helpful way to live out your Baptismal promises, grow in virtue, and learn more about our Catholic faith under the guidance of our Lady. The series begins on Wednesday March 29th.

Upcoming Parish Retreat: "Living Life to the Full" at Peter Canasius House Pymble on March 24 - 26
After a wonderful day retreat last Saturday at Holy Cross College, (please see info box on page 5 for a brief rundown and testimonial on the one day retreat), our intrepid RGCP Retreat team will be offering a weekend retreat to prepare for Easter.

It is entitled: "Living Life to the Full", echoing Jesus words in John 10, 10: "I have come that they may have life, life to the full". Join Fr. Steve and Fr. Daniele and the Team for a weekend of great talks, good food, in a fantastic setting at Peter Canasius House at Pymble.

I will also be popping in to see you, so book yourself a place and pack those bags in anticipation.
