Confirmations on this Weekend (SCB and OLQP)
Bishop Danny Meagher will be visiting us this weekend on Friday evening and Sunday afternoon for three Confirmation Masses. He came on Friday to be present at the Confirmation Retreat Day at St. Charles Primary School to meet our budding 'Confirmands'. If you happen to be around please make him feel very welcome.

Vinnies Van News - Friday Evening Run Added!
We are pleased to inform you all that the Vinnies Van you helped purchase and fit-out now has a third night in the Gladesville - Ryde area. This time we've added a Friday evening stop along Pittwater Road along with a second on Higginbotham Street, thanks to the help of our neighbouring Villa Maria Parish at Hunters Hill. The other three nights will be dedicated for the Cumberland area, as the second van we helped acquire was sent up to depressed areas of Newcastle instead, which I think is a fantastic option.

King's Birthday Honours for Parishioner Austin Kim OAM!
Yet another of our loyal parishioners - Austin Kim of Putney - has received King's Birthday honours with the Order of Australia Medal for his services to the Korean Catholic Community, to the "Clean up Australia" day down along Parramatta River at Kissing Point, and a host of other things. Austin is a 'regular' at both weekday and weekend Masses at SCB and an all-round nice guy! Congratulations, Austin!
