Hi everyone!
Easter Mass Times Letterbox Drop Next Weekend
We are getting closer and closer to Holy Week, with Palm Sunday just next weekend. We are finalising the printing of the Easter Card for delivery into letterboxes for next weekend, so please keep that in mind. We print about 14,000 of the cards, so there is plenty of exercise to be had in delivering these to the letterboxes in our neighbourhood. More about that next week, but thanks in advance for your help.

Good Friday Live Enactment Stations of the Cross Live Streamed This Year
After the success with the live-streaming at OLQP Church for the Centenary Mass three weeks ago, we have decided to try to live stream our 'Stations of the Cross' re-enactment on Good Friday in the grounds of St. Charles Primary School.

This is a fairly ambitious task, as we need to adapt to the realities of the large playground underneath the basketball court there, but it shouldn't be too difficult a feat for Stefan, who looked after the Centenary Mass. Anyway, this will be our first attempt at live-streaming it, but it should be really good for the housebound to see the Good Friday 'Way of the Cross' even if they can't physically get to the venue.

Air Conditioning has (almost) Reached the Choir Loft at OLQP Church
Due to the recent instalment of a larger and more powerful air conditioning unit at the back of OLQP Church, I am very pleased to inform you that the choir loft at OLQP Church will soon have an air conditioning duct similar to the ones we have in the floor below. That will be a welcome addition for our Youth Choir, members who sing there on Saturday nights and also for the people who need to use it at larger celebrations. We just need to do a little bit more work to channel the ducting, but stay tuned!

New 'Alpha Course' beginning May 5th
Do you know of someone who has approached you with a question about your faith? Is your spouse/partner, or one of your family members, open to learning more about it? Are any of them 'lapsed Catholics' who might be open to coming back?

The Alpha Course is designed for people like these to explore a little more about what we believe, why we believe it, and how that links in with some of the deeper questions we all face at some stage or another. Questions like: What's my purpose in life? Or: Who is Jesus and why did he have to die? Or: What relevance does all this have to my life?

You, who are reading this, probably know of people whom you could suggest this course to, and even accompany them on the course to have someone they know beside them. There is a 'Launch Night' on the 5th of May, which is only a month off ... how about venturing a question to a few people to invite them along? Personal invitation is by far the best way of starting this off. You can build a bridge to them. For more information see the flyer on page 4.

Palm Sunday Rosters
As we prepare for Palm Sunday next weekend, please take a moment to check the rosters. Many of our readers have been assigned various speaking roles, and it’s important that you are familiar with your particular reading, which were emailed to you last week. Please arrive, at your assigned mass, at least 15minutes prior to find out where you will need to be positioned.

If you have any questions or need to discuss your role, feel free to reach out!

Daylight Saving Finishes This Weekend
Just a friendly reminder that Daylight Saving Time wraps up this weekend. That means, not only do we get an extra hour of sleep before church this weekend, but it won’t seem like the middle of the night when we wake up! Hope you’re all ready to enjoy the extra rest.

And that's about it for now.

Fr. Greg
